Red Dirt Distillery

A specialty business on the Dorrigo Plateau renowned for its Potato Vodka. Previously known as the Waterfall Way Winery, we are one of a handful of wineries Australia wide that specialises in wines made from fruits other than grapes. Furthermore, we are one of only 18 licensed distilleries in the country.

We are Australia's only Potato Vodka manufacturer utilising the famous Dorrigo red soil Sebago potato. Our Potato Vodka has flavour and bouquet, ignites the senses and lingers on the palate. Our vodka does not create a typical vodka burn, but rather a warming glow!

Our shopfront in the main street of Dorrigo includes "Lick The Spoon". The premier providore of fine foods on the plateau. Lick the Spoon concentrates on the provision of unique and interesting food sourced from the local and regional area. The Spoon also offers breakfast and lunch, Monday to Friday and breakfast Saturday morning.
Our Gourmet product lines, handcrafted in our own kitchen are a feature of this business. They include a range of specialty cakes and tortes which are served with award winning Toby's Estate Coffee. We also manufacture a range of chutneys, relishes, jams, jellies and fruit pastes sourcing our ingredients from local suppliers.
