Red Dirt Distillery is a specialty business located on the Dorrigo Plateau. We are renowned for the production of unique alcoholic products of exceptional quality, using local and regional fruits and Dorrigo red dirt Sebago potatoes.
All our products are handcrafted and produced in small production runs, made without the addition of colourings, artificial flavourings or preservatives. The majority of our liqueurs are styled on classic Italian sweet liqueurs, but are made using our own spirits and recipes for infusions of herbs, flowers and fruits. The entire process is undertaken "in house", using raw ingredients sourced from the local area and region.
A dedicated research effort is continually developing new and interesting products, in both our fermentation and distillation departments as well as our foods and preserves sections.
We also proudly acknowledge our cooking heritage and have re-created timeless classic preserves such as chutneys, jams, marmalades, wine jellies, sauces and vinegars as well as cordials and flavoured salts. Regrettably, with the significant increase in the alcohol side of our business, many of our preserves are out-of-stock!
We are currently in the process of transferring our Licences to larger premises at Glen Innes. As this progresses we will be closed more frequently. Our current projections are that this move will be complete in early 2017.

Lick the Spoon is also onsite, a premier providore of fine foods, including our handmade preserves.
We also serve Toby's Estate coffee along with a selection of our own homemade cakes.
